Rodarte for Target

Only a few more weeks until Rodarte for Target hits stores. I have been waiting for what seems like FOREVER! Sometimes I get so excited about the designer lines for Target and then when they get there I am very underwhelmed. Let's hope that does not happen this time. I already spied one of the dresses on Dakota Fanning in the December issue of Teen Vogue (yes I read Teen Vogue...don't judge). You can check out a sneak peak of the collection on Popsugar. They all look like great options for NYE. I'll follow up on December 20th when I go check them out in person...

Happy Kwanzaa to ME!

To start the new year off right, Elle has decided to have TWO covers for their January issue. Normally, when there are multiple covers for a magazine, I don't have a problem picking out which one...for instance, this month, Glamour decided on Rihanna and Michelle Obama. I chose Rihanna because she is a fierce bitch and I can't get enough of her. Anyways, I have gotten off track now. The point is that I must have both January covers for Elle because Gaga AND Britney will be on the cover! Can you believe it?! I can't wait to see which one sells more. I am gonna go ahead and put my money on Gaga. Not sure what Brit Brit is promoting, considering her tour is over and her "Singles" album came out last month, but I'm not complaining. Anytime I can see really good airbrushed pics of Brit, is always a feel good moment. I really can't wait!

Furrrr, Baby

As the temperatures cool off, I can't help but think how I am going to keep warm this winter! I am so excited to see fur EVERYWHERE! Now, I know fur is a bit controversial, but let me tell you my theory on it. Nobody wants a cute little rabbit or chinchilla or chipmunk to die simply so you can be fashionable and warm. However, I think vintage real fur is ok. The animal is already dead. It was dead a long time ago and nothing can be done about it now. Sorry PETA, but we can't allow animals of the past to have died in vain! Vintage is the only way to wear real fur. Lucky for us though, there are many faux options out there! Sienna Miller is seen here sporting a Chewbacca style fur from Topshop. If you aren't feeling her bulky fur jacket, then try a vest. I keep checking the forecast so I can pick the perfect day to break mine out. Fur is a MUST this season and can be found almost anywhere (including Target, which I wouldn't suggest) but be selective or you will end up on the worst dressed list and we wouldn't want that...

Today is a GREAT day!!!

Alright, so I know it's been a little bit since you have heard from me, but today is a very special day for a number of reasons! How about if I list them out? Ok!

1. Britney Spears' new single "3" is debuting at number one on the Billboard Hot 100! She is the first artist in 3 years to do this! This song is so good! I highly recommend you download it. It's very catchy AND it's about a threesome! Then go buy her singles collection that comes out on November 24th. I plan on asking for it for Chrimus, but I don't know if I will be able to wait that long...

2. And now, the day I know I have been waiting for....the dates for Lady Gaga's Monster Ball Tour have been released and I plan on seeing her here in Atlanta, at the Fox, on December 29th! I also MAY have to make a special trip to Chi-town and see her again in January, but let's not get ahead of ourselves. Also, don't forget that Gaga is re-releasing her album with 8 new tracks on November 24th! Man, I have a lot to buy on November 24th!

These are two very exciting things for all of us to look forward to! I can't wait!

Rain Rain Go Away...or not

Burberry $195

Tory Burch $295

I'm not a huge fan of the rain because it messes up my bangs. I'm pretty OCD about them always being in place. Really, the only good thing about rain is RAIN BOOTS!! I like them to be functional AND stylish. If you don't have the cash for the designer ones listed above, then check out Hunter. You can get them at Nordstrom, Piperlime, or Shopbop. And they have cute, little "welly socks" in tons of colors and patterns to stick inside!

For God and the Gays

YA'LL!!! I am SOOOO upset! No, it's not because Asshole Mike tried to knock MK (my Beta) off my desk this morning with his hockey stick...it's because the Lady Gaga/Kanye West Fame Kills tour was CANCELED! I was so ready to drop some serious cash on these tickets so I could see Gaga up close. I think we are all a little bit curious about what she may or may not be hiding in her...well, not pants...her bodysuits? Anyways, I don't want to offend anyone's vagina.; I don't care what she has between her legs. I HEART her anyways! I am keeping my fingers crossed that she will tour without that douche (although I wouldn't have minded seeing him because we all have to admit that he does make really great music).

I'm going to drown my sorrows in green tea now.

Until next time...

*Update*
SO, soon after I posted about the Fame Kills tour cancellation, Gaga said that she would be touring alone, which is really how it should have been to begin with. I mean, Lady Gaga and Kanye? How did they come up with that? It seems like that idea was birthed during a night of heavy drinking. You know, the ones where you make plans that, at the time, seem like the best idea ever but then in the morning you think "Shit. What have I gotten myself into?" I'm sure that is exactly what Gaga was thinking after she and Kanye spent the night drinking Hennessey. I am THRILLED she was lucky enough to weasel her way out of it due to "creative differences." I, on the otherhand, have found myself not so lucky in similar situations...Ok, so what have we all learned? Don't make plans to tour with the biggest jackass in music while intoxicated? Right.

Rachel Roy!

I am so so excited about Rachel Roy's new affordable line at Macy's! The clothes are super cute and super affordable! Very unique pieces with a modern twist. Check it out here or at select Macy's stores.

I think I may have to make a special trip to the mall this weekend and see what's up!

Blogger At Last!

Finally!! After weeks of brainstorming, a blog name has been born (with the help of Miss V and skinny mini at the bar last night). Seems pretty self explanatory, right? "La petite" for my small stature and "bitch" is...just because. I should also give props to my personal French expert for correcting my initially incorrect French grammar. I may have made the horrible mistake of becoming "Le petite bitch" and I'm sure confusion and rumors would have ensued and as a newbie blogger, I am just not ready to become the Lady Gaga of the blogging world. Is it a man? Is it a woman? Is it a Hermie? WHO CARES!!!! SHE is effing aMAZing!

I am fairly certain that the people in my life value my opinion (not to toot my own horn or anything). So, I figured, why not share with everyone else? I shouldn't deny the world of my expertise on fashion, celebs, shopping, pop culture and whatever else my little brain cooks up. I will go ahead and apologize for my obsession with certain celebrities...actually, no I will not. Scratch that.
